Oh, we’re going to talk about me again, are we? Goody.
I believe the power of film and visual storytelling is vital to how we communicate and understand one another. As a filmmaker it’s my goal to make films that generate empathy, broaden our individual understanding of our world and encourage independent thinking and discussion.
I believe in a lot of other things, too, but that is a good starting point for us. The other pages here are overviews of projects I’m working on that I love. Probably my posts will be updates on progress on those projects or the occasional art project (sometimes gone awry) or a review of what I’ve been watching lately. Probably, like I said, this is a starting point. We’ll see how it goes.
What is this Notline business anyway?
Great question, Warren. Notline is a name I gave myself because I was tired of people calling me Caroline instead of Carolyn. But most people think it’s my middle name. (It’s not. My middle name is Marie. [Fun Fact: Coincidentally, my grandparents used to live on the corner of Carolyn Ave. & Marie Rd.])
No, but like…who are you?
I’m a New York City-based producer from Cary, North Carolina by way of Pittsburgh, PA. I like working on films, festivals, webseries and occasionally making art projects. I used to not feel the need to explain it to you, Warren, but I now will in these here pages.
STOP CALLING ME WARREN
Good talk. Let’s jam.
